Platform comROSS RR-2

Mobile station for measuring air pollution

which, based on meteorological data and the ability to take measurements anywhere, determines the area emitting pollution.

Station equipment:
- gas meter with sample conditioning at a constant
temperature of 25oC (CO, NO, NO2, SO2, O3, VOC and others)
- laser dust meter with heated track (particulate matter PM10, PM2.5)
- measuring devices for: pressure, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, noise level
- optionally equipped with radiological measuring devices

The comROSS RR2 platform equipped with a station for measuring air pollution can be used in various ways:

1. Can be fixed on the hook of any vehicle and test the air in any places.

2. Can be fixed on a specially prepared trolley and leave it anywhere, e.g. at schools, hospitals, by the road. This solution allows testing of air pollution for several days. The trolley is also used to install and remove the platform from the vehicle.

3. We remove the measuring station from the platform and fix it on a wall or pole. By connecting 230V current to the measuring station, we test the air continuously.

In addition, we equip comROSS RR2 platforms with BRUKER remote sensing devices that analyze gases remotely.

comROSS RR2 platforms equipped with SIGIS 2 or HI 90 Bruker devices are designed for air monitoring during mass events. In case of danger, they will quickly identify poisonous compounds and the contaminated area. Thanks to remote sensing of gas clouds, we can identify all compounds coming out of the chimneys within a radius of up to 10 km, detect any leaks in industrial plants, incineration plants, boiler rooms, heating plants, etc. The devices can be used day and night, during rain and snow at temperatures from -30oC to 60oC. The use of remote sensing devices in no way affects the private space and does not pose a threat to other people, property or airspace users.

Ammonia Detected with SIGIS 2 from 1.5km Distance

Using the SIGIS 2, this video shows the detection and identification of ammonia being discharged from a stack at a distance of approximately 1.5km. Note the orange square directly above the stack which is the user defined Field of Regard (FOR). The area within the FOR is rapidly scanned with spectral information being captured at each point by the FTIR spectrometer and immediately analyzed for suspect chemical content.

Platform COMROSS RR-1

Mobile platform with power supply for lightweight pneumatic masts up to 12 meters high. The maximum load on a 12 meter mast when fully extended is 20 kilograms.
The transport height counted from the ground level to the top of the mast is 250cm. The weight of the platform with the mast together with the equipment does not exceed 75kg.

The platform's power supply consists of 100-200 Ah batteries with a voltage of 12-24V.
The batteries are charged using a dedicated charger connected to the 230V mains or 6A current from the thirteen-pin car socket.
